I Love Carrie Lam
Middle management is the hardest,
caught between China and the swollen Hong Kong mobs
forced to quash
the people she loves
Like any mother she must protect her children
even if she has to
smother them
Carrie Lam, poor misunderstood soul
is only following orders.
It takes a little force to maintain
the sixth best economy on the planet
She weeps inside
at the sacrifice
Without her
her people would suffer even more
Under the shadow
of Tiananmen
Carrie Lam
that traitor
vermin
enemy of humanity
In a photo
she stares mildly at the camera
gazing directly
at me
serene and stern
a faint smile
like a mother
like Mona Lisa
“Feeling the Misery of Biting Fleas?” — advertisement
I do feel their misery
the poor biting fleas
their lives are so short
and lacking in meaning.
I wonder if biting fleas undergo existential crises.
I doubt it.
They are not bright enough.
I will feel their existential crises
for them.
At least briefly
and in very small way.
